Scare and Verified J.B. Owens Onyx Line Jardiniere, Good Colors, 6 ⅛” Tall

Scare Onyx Line Jardiniere with a
neat variegated/striated design pattern.
As with many of these early large Owens shapes, this piece is unmarked.
The Owens shape number is 901 based on marked examples I have in Utopian and Oriental ware.
Further, I’ve included an advertisement image from the late 1890s to verify the provenance of this Owens Jardiniere.
There are no repairs, hairlines, cracks, or other issues identified on this piece of pottery.
However, it has the remains of
2 small glaze bubbles on its side (see the image).
I use plenty of bubble wrap and Styrofoam peanuts during packing to ensure each item arrives in the same condition I shipped it.  I also require
each item be fully insured by the USPS mail service.
